The Second Presidential Debate - A Sod LiveBlog
By Nate • Oct 7th, 2008 • Category: LiveSod LiveBlog, PoliticsThe wake of last week’s Vice Presidential debate has barely passed us by and already it’s time for us to knuckle down and over-analyize the second Presidential Debate, being held in a Town Hall style in Nashville, TN. How many questions from the audience will involve the Vanderbilt v. Auburn game from Saturday? How many audience members will have to make an awkward pause when asking Obama a question, presumably because they have to stop themselves from prefacing it with, “Boy?” Will anyone ask McCain if he is still physically and mentally capable to ascending to the Presidency? Will Tom Brokaw finally swallow that tongue he’s been chewing on for these last 30 years as a broadcast newsman?
So much excitement, so little time.
Join the panel here at Sodblog for our very important liveblog of this trivial event…sorry, got those mixed up. I meant to say; Join the panel here at Sodblog for our trivial liveblog of this important event. Actually, it works both ways, now that I think about it. Meh.
If you want to join in all the fun, a post with the liveblog will be up later today, or you can just bookmark this post and click on this link at 9PM Eastern / 8 Central.
Nate is pretty sure Mark Twain said it best, "Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardnesses yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place."
