Obama Selects Biden as Running Mate

It’s official… A text message at 3 am this morning declared Joe Biden as Obama’s running mate.
DENVER — The candidate who claimed the Democratic presidential nomination with a message of change has turned to a six-term senator and Washington insider for his running mate.
Barack Obama’s choice of Delaware Sen. Joe Biden as the Democratic vice presidential nominee instantly bolsters the ticket’s credentials on foreign policy, an area where Obama’s background is limited. Biden, who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is one of Congress’ most knowledgable and respected voices on national security.

Good choice or bad? Some say the ‘mouth’ of Biden will pull the ticket down, others say it will bolster it.
I say he’s a good choice, if he can keep it cool over the next few months.

I’m pretty sure it’s a good idea. Obama is a pretty smart guy, and he knows what he’s doing with the election. I’ve never really heard of this guy though, mainly because I don’t follow politics, but he seems capable enough.
