BREAKING: This blog is shutting down to deal with the economy.

I didn’t want it to have to come to this, but it looks like I have no other choice.

My friends, I am shutting down this blog so that I may spend more time thinking about the economy.  Because the economy is very important to me right now, and the less time I spend thinking about it, the worse it will get. This is a risk I am not prepared to take, for the good of the country.

Here is a picture of me thinking. About the economy. I am a very passionate thinker.

In the spirit of bipartisanship, I call on Nate to suspend his blogging as well, and that together we delay our liveblog of the debates on Friday until another date, more than likely until the date they decide to have the debate on. Now is not the time for wasteful postings on blanket clothing and resemblances of presidential candidates with turtles. Now is a time for action. And by action, I mean thinking. About the economy.

I’d like to stay and discuss this, but there’s just no time. I need to be thinking right now. About the economy. You guys can do whatever you want to do, but me, I have thinking to do. Goodbye forever. Or until tomorrow. Whatever.

  1. I’m thinking, but my thinking looks more pensive than yours. I’m sure that means I’m thinking harder.

  2. Its not just you guys who are thinking of economy, the whole world is being forced to do so.The politicians just make a comment that the situation is grim and the economy is heading towards Depression. But does this fall or rise really matters to them,no way. They sleep over these issues, don’t they?

  3. I’m doing a lot of thinking as well. I’m thinking about how someone who isn’t even a natural-born American can get into the presidential race, so he can actually whip the yanks into shape, and have them biscuit their cookies and do things the British way to get things back on track.

Also, if I hear one more thing about high gas prices, I’m sending the offender to the UK. It’s like, $11/gallon there just now.

  4. I have been thinking a lot lately too. And boy does it hurt….I thought that you cannot run for president if you were not born in this country. So now you are making me have to actually work and think together. What the heck are you going here guys.

  5. All the business men and women are thinking about the economy to revive. The fall in the American stock markets and their banking crisis had made a heavy toll which is huge to recover. I predict that it will take another 6 months for sure to regain its momentum. Once if it gets a +ve news, then the whole world’s market will start performing well. Let us hope for the best.
