Sod’s Holiday Hangover
By Nate • Dec 30th, 2007 • Category: General Sod
Some of you may have noticed that we here at Sod have been less than frequent in our posting over the past week or two. Truth is, we’re more than a little lethargic due to collectively overdosing on eggnog, christmas cookies, stuffing, candy canes, gingerbread, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, eggnog-flavored cookies, more stuffing, what may or may not have been a small child’s toy, a couple of lincoln logs (we hope), some “adult” eggnogs and a few more candy canes.
In all the excitement of opening gifts, we also misplaced our computers underneath an impenetrable pile of wrapping paper and bows.
It’s been a long, yet fulfilling holiday season for all of us, and, we hope, all of you. Despite our lack of production, please rest assured that we are still here, thinking of ways to entertain you. We have some great ideas that we’re working on for the new year and, with any luck, 2008 will be the year of SodBlog.com.
So, enjoy a safe New Years Eve, and we’ll do our level best to dig ourselves out of all this wrapping paper and start typing off a few of these newly-acquired holiday pounds.
Nate is pretty sure Mark Twain said it best, "Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardnesses yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place."
