Word of the month: ‘Skadoosh’ v. ‘Chillax’

A recent, and dare I say biased, commercial for ‘Kung Fu Panda’ claimed that ’skadoosh’ was the word of the month. And while I do enjoy saying ’skadoosh,’ it conjures up visions of Jamaican feminine hygiene products, mon.
‘Chillax,’ on the other hand, is much less disturbing. This annoying but addictive catch phrase will catch on yet… Try it out…

I saw this movie over Labor Day weekend. Since it was raining where I live, my wife and I decided to take the kids to go see this movie since tickets were only one dollar each. My wife and kids really enjoyed the movie. I made the mistake of watching a classic kung fu movie, Shaolin Temple, during the morning so when I went to see this, I still had images of Shaolin monks training to protect China from the Manchurians. There were certain scenes that were funny but overall, I’m glad I only paid a dollar for each ticket.
