New lessons in the NBA…

By Derek • Feb 13th, 2008 • Category: General Sod

Perhaps not lessons. Well, I guess the Chicago Bulls should have learned a lesson in trading away Tyson Chandler, I suppose that they could’ve never forseen the player that Tyson Chandler blossomed into, but in my NBA Live season, he averages 20.3 ppg and 12 rebounds, nothing to sniff at. In reality I think he’s posting somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 ppg and 10 rebounds, still impressive, certainly better than Ben Wallace. Speaking of gambling on old big men, the Suns really traded Matrix (and change) for Shaq? I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. Sure Shaq can provide a defensive presence that the Suns sorely need, but there’s no way the fat man will be able to keep up with their uptempo offensive style. Only one thing needs be said. Boston Celtics, even without the Big Ticket they’re still winning games. The NBA finals will be Boston and an aging San Antonio Spurs team. Celtics win in six.

Derek is 4000 years ago gnomes took control of the swamplands surrounding the home of my ancestors. Since that day I have strived to take them back.

  1. How’re the gnome wars going, Der-Der? Did you know that if you tap a gnome atop the head with a stick made of oak, that gnome will instantly become your best friend? It’s true; that’s how Cosmo ended up as part of the gang.
    Go, Celtics.
